After a chemical blast in Pocklington Wastege remove all hazardous waste from the site and begin the demolition process.

The chemical blast broke out in Pocklington, shortly before 17:00 BST on Thursday 30th June caused by a chemical explosion

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze was brought under control overnight

The Environment Agency said it had officers inspecting the site, but there were currently no serious environmental implications.

Luckily no one was injured and Wastege Ltd worked across the weekend to remove all the Hazardous Waste from the burnt wreckage and to manage the demolition of all the buildings on site in Pocklington after the fire.
