Did you know that waste containers have an expiration date?
UN-approved containers, such as Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) and drums, are not designed to last indefinitely.
Generally, these containers have a lifespan of five years from the date of manufacture. Before this five-year period ends, they must be re-certified to ensure they can safely be used for transporting hazardous waste.
Wastege can supply UN-approved containers as part of your Hazardous Waste Management Plan.
